Sinharaja Rain Forest Reserve

Sinharaja Rain Forest Reserve is a breathtakingly beautiful and critically important natural wonder located in southwest Sri Lanka. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Sinharaja is one of the last remaining primary tropical rainforests in the world. Biodiversity Hotspot: Sinharaja bursts with an incredible variety of life. Over 60% of the trees are endemic, meaning they're found nowhere else on Earth. The reserve is teeming with wildlife, including mammals like the elusive leopard and the purple-faced langur monkey, along with countless vibrant bird, reptile, amphibian, and insect species.

Sri Padaya(Adam's Peak)

Sri Padaya (Adam's Peak): A Sacred Summit Sri Padaya, often called Adam's Peak, is a tall, conical mountain located in central Sri Lanka. It stands at 2,243 meters (7,359 feet) tall and holds immense spiritual significance for several religions. The Sacred Footprint: At the summit lies the Sri Pada, a rock formation approximately 1.8 meters long resembling a giant footprint. Buddhists believe the footprint belongs to Buddha. Hindus consider it the footprint of Lord Shiva. Muslims and some Christians believe it's the footprint of Adam, hence the name "Adam's Peak".
